You’ll need multiple sessions. Laser hair removal is not a one-and-done treatment. While you’ll see results even after your first session, it will take several sessions to complete the process. You will need 6-8 treatments to get the best results. Treatments are usually spread out depending on the growth cycle of the hair. People commonly have laser hair removal every 4 to 6 weeks for the face, 6-8 weeks for the body, and 8-10 weeks for the legs, but speak to your dermatologist or medical esthetician about how often you should have treatments.

When you’re getting ready for your laser hair removal procedure, make sure you shave the night before or the morning of your treatment. The reason for this precaution is simple – you want to remove as much hair as possible so it doesn’t absorb most of the laser’s energy.

There are areas that can be more tender but any discomfort is instantly gone after the treatment is complete. It feels like your skin is being snapped with a rubber band. But we are positive if you find any discomfort … it is 100% worth the long-term results!

A few simple steps will have you ready for a smooth finish!
- Do not tan outdoors or indoors.
- Do not use self-tanning lotions.
- Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher before going outdoors.
- Shave the area to be treated to reduce damage from burnt hairs.
- Do not pluck or wax the area.

Camouflage tattooing is a great option for anyone over 18 who has things like scars, stretch marks, or reconstruction scarring as long as the area is healed, and light in color (not red or purple in color) it can be treated.

We have a breakdown of 3 different appointment styles based on size. A small area will take anywhere from 15-30 minutes. Medium area can be 30-60 minutes. And a large area can take approximately 60-90 minutes.

Each area will have to be assessed, and individual healing is an important factor to consider, but most areas will need anywhere from 2-6 sessions.

Depending on skin type, how well the area is maintained, and how often the area is in the sun are all determining factors of how well your camo tattoo will last. It is a form of permanent tattooing, so if the area is well maintained it can last you forever!
